Welcome to the 2017 National Championships
On behalf of the Contest Committee, welcome to the website for the 2017 National Brass Band Championships.
We are delighted to be holding the contest in Wellington again after a long break; we think Wellington has a great deal to offer both in terms of venues and amenities. From bars and restaurants to the Weta Cave, there will be plenty for you to see and do as well as enjoying world class musical performances from brass bands from around New Zealand and overseas.
We're working on a number of exciting initiatives to make this a memorable contest, so please check back regularly for announcements.
We will be providing updates for bands that will be participating and non-band members interested in contest; if you would like to receive relevant updates, please fill in the form below.
We want to make this a true community event, so if you would like to help out as a volunteer, please let us know.
